Project Management Internship
Whilst our Technology teams hold responsibility for the design, development and deployment of the wide range of complex, cutting edge software and hardware developed by YouView, these different workstreams are coordinated by our Project Management Teams.
We have 3 exciting vacancies of 3 month placement starting June 2018! In this role you’ll work as a Project Manager Intern within one of our 3 Project Management Teams.
You'll be supporting one of them to manage the delivery of roadmap items, identifying and mitigating risks and management reporting.
Skills and Experience
We're looking for interns who have just finished or are about to start their final year of study in a business or IT related degree. You must also be passionate about technology and be an excellent communicator with strong business acumen.
Candidates need to be:
- Strongly computer literate (MS Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
- Strong organisational / business awareness and commercial acumen
- Ideally have practical experience of Project Management tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint, or issue tracking system such as JIRA
- To work in our programme delivery team you need to have
- Excellent time management
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for technology
