Client Relations Administrator Placement

The role represents a great opportunity to join an exciting business and to support the ever-growing Client Relations team across their organisational, administrative and secretarial functions. The Client Relations team look after all our clients from the initial contact to getting them fully on-boarded and ready to start trading with us. Reporting into the manager of the Client Relations team, this role will focus mainly on resolving post-trade activity, such as performing additional KYC / due diligence checks on clients, resolving complications with payments and from handling queries from getting our clients personal information updated to creating accounts for them. A fundamental part of this role lies in identifying opportunities to improve internal processes, as well as owning solutions to lead to long-term benefits for customers, the business and the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is on a four-year sandwich course ideally in business administration or another relevant business discipline that has a keen interest in business, compliance or financial services.

To be considered for this placement you will be on track for a 2:1 degree (or equivalent). The ideal candidate will have a friendly, approachable manner with a 'can-do' attitude to work, and who is experienced using Microsoft Office systems

Examples of Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a compliance mailbox where requests are sent to you from internal teams, you will interact with customers on the phone and via email to resolve a broad range of issues that either prevent a trade from taking place or help us to meet our compliance obligations. This includes requesting additional anti-money laundering documents, business invoices and resolving payment queries to ensure smooth and timely trades for our clients
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure all requests are actioned in a timely manner
  • Identify areas to improve operational efficiency, specifically around changing processes or identifying knowledge gaps for the team
  • Documenting internal process and best practice in readiness for people in the business to follow and future team audits
  • Attend regular meetings with Compliance and Payments teams to communicate challenges and discuss opportunities to improve the client experience
  • Updating our clients' accounts with personal information, documents and other details.
  • Assisting in direct mail to our clients

Key Capabilities:

  • Extremely well organised and a keen eye for detail an excellent multi-tasker; ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Strong work ethic, with hunger, drive and ambition to make this opportunity a tangible success
  • Ability to input large volumes of data through our in-house system
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and initiative to see tasks through to completion
  • Solutions focused
  • Ideally have experience in an administrative role
  • Computer literacy: excellent knowledge of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Articulate; excellent verbal and written communication
