About The Body Shop

Inspirational people are at the core of our success. We are a family of bold, unique and passionate employees who make The Body Shop a dynamic and exciting place to work – believe us when we say there is never a dull day here.

When you come into work on a Monday you can guarantee that your week will be filled with celebrations of TBS’s successes, freebies, office parties, team lunches, invites to talks of TBS’s latest global adventures… plus any excuse for free cake. This is just the start, wait until you find out what you’ll get up to in your exciting new role…

IT Infrastructure Placement

You will be a part of the Desktop Support team (2nd line), where you will support the day-to-day requests from the business, configure and provide new hardware and be a part of software deployment projects. You will also get to experience what it is like to be part of the Server and Exchange Support team (3rd line) where not only will you monitor and maintain the server ad Exchange environment, but also get involved in project work that the business and team requires. You will also get to work within the Network and Telecoms Support team (3rd line) where you will monitor and maintain the The Body Shop network.

Not only will you get to experience these 3 dynamic teams which are such an integral part of the business, you will also develop a whole range of hard and soft skills. Providing technical support across multiple business areas will allow you to perfect your technical expertise whilst also gaining knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure in a corporate environment. You will network with Infrastructure teams, key stakeholders and other departments outside of IT. Active participation in projects and meetings will develop both your team working and communication skills, including your ability to convey technical details at a layman level.

Want to join TBS global family?

If you are a hard-working, innovative and enthusiastic IT undergraduate with great communication skills and the ability to work strategically towards success, you will fit in perfectly in our Global Support Centre.

In return for your contribution to the success of TBS, you will get the responsibility, training and respect of a full-time employee (you will be doing a hell of a lot more than making tea). You will also get a salary of £16,000, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, 50% off TBS products, discounted cinema tickets, 3 paid days to spend volunteering, free gym vouchers and £100 to spend on learning new skills or on fitness and wellbeing.

Start date: June 2018
