EH&S Industrial Placement
We are looking to recruit a 12 month Industrial Placement student within our EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) function at Marston Green, Birmingham.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a world renowned aerospace Company.
The roles and responsibilities are:
- Progress key environmental projects to help site achieve 2020 goals company-wide sustainability goals; monitor key indicators eg water, gas, electricity
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and maintain evidence files
- Track progress and support closure of corrective action plans
- Organise various meetings and maintain appropriate minutes and actions
- Manage improvement actions for key Health and Safety elements eg fire safety,
- Support team continuous improvement activities and become improvement lead (ACE Pilot)
- Provide regular progress reports
- Following suitable training, provide EH&S support to site personnel
- Represent EH&S team at various site wide meetings
The position has a salary of £17,494 along with 25 days paid annual holiday.
IMPORTANT: Candidates must be able to commit to the full 12 month placement (apart from the above holidays).
