Customer Service Assistant

The Customer Service Assistant placement programme is for students with a year in industry as a compulsory or optional element of their degree. The programme provides a taster to the Customer Service environment as well as the opportunity to maximise your personal and professional attributes.

We pride ourselves on the service that we provide to our clients and this position is central to achieving these high standards. In joining an established and dedicated customer service team, you will be directly involved in all functions of the department and will be expected to proactively support the increase in standards of customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working across all the key areas of the Customer Service Team. The client requests, the administration and the proactive.
  • The client request side; Managing existing golf break bookings – communicating with customers and suppliers when dealing with any amendments to booking details and offering new quotes for any changes.
  • The administration side; Ensuring the highest attention to detail when confirming all aspects of our reservations, from hotel & golf, to transfers and flights.
  • The proactive side; opportunities to; support other departments, work on our Live Agent console, proactively making calls to ensure our clients receive the highest levels of service, learn all about our product.
  • Dealing with customer feedback and any queries that arise prior to, or during their breaks to ensure we maintain our 98% Customer Satisfaction scores (or better them!)
  • Working closely with other departments such as sales, product and marketing to ensure the smoothest end to end process for our clients

Skill Requirements:

  • You are an undergraduate studying for a degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to commit to the full 13-month placement scheme commencing July 2018.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a fast paced Customer Service team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
