Quantity Surveyor Placement
We’re currently offering the opportunity for undergraduate placement students to gain valuable experience and develop a number of key skills that will help you to pursue a career in quantity surveying.
As a Quantity Surveyor placement student, you will manage costs relating to construction projects. You will be working closely with subcontractors, placing orders, and ensuring that the needs of projects are met. You will need to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders while perpetually seeking to minimise total cost and maximise the value received. Final accounts will need to be agreed and reported internally on both the financial and contractual status of schemes.
Everything you do will be done in line with helping us maintain our world-class safety culture. If you have a practical mind and strong numerical and financial management skills, a career as a quantity surveyor could be ideal for you.

What you’ll bring
- You must be studying a full-time degree related to; Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business or Maths and be eligible to work in the UK.
- Confidence, motivation, plus the ability to handle multiple tasks and problem-solve.
- Environmental and contractual awareness • Excellent commercial awareness
- Strong organisational, numerical, financial and communication skills.
- A positive attitude with an ability to work well under pressure.
