Each summer, over 75 undergrad, Masters and PhD students embrace our internship roles. The positions span all skill sets, from the highly technical to corporate functions: Finance, Bioinformatics, Engineering, Research & Development, Marketing, and Software, among others. Our 12-month program, iAspire, focuses on relevant project work, professional and personal development, in addition to networking opportunities.

Scope of the Supply Chain Internship:

In Procurement we support a wide range of activities covering legal, planning, negotiation, risk management, sourcing strategies and supplier management. You will get involved in all of these areas.

Key required skills are:

• ability to analyse business data and draw meaningful conclusions
• good verbal , written and presentation skills
• strong teamworking skills.

You will also interface with external suppliers so will be required to present a professional image. We will provide training and support for the candidate so that they can be successful in the role and within Illumina.

Note: Some UK / Eu travel may be required as part of the role. You must be eligible to work in the UK to be qualified for the iAspire program.

This role is located in Granta Park, near Cambridge, UK. Applications are being accepted up to 31st January 2018, with assessment days scheduled for 6th and 7th March 2018.

The selection Process:

Once your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed initially by our dedicated recruitment team, with shortlisted candidates being contacted via telephone, before being invited to complete a digital, video interview. The culmination of our selection process is for the finalists to attend an all-day assessment centre event at our offices.

Please note, reasonable travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed to applicants invited to attend an assessment day.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK in participate in the iAspire program.
