Field Marketing Placement

As in most technology companies, channel partners are our key route to market. This role will play an important part in the execution of the channel partner strategy in supporting the development and roll-out of Zebra Channel Partner programmes across the EMEA region. This role will also provide support to the Team of Pan EMEA based Field Marketing Managers in the execution of events, account based marketing and social media campaigns. If you are interested in developing your marketing skill in a technology business that is small enough where you can make an impact, this is an ideal role. Works closely with the EMEA Channel & Field Marketing Team Manager, as well as having the opportunity to understand and work with the wider EMEA Marketing team of 30 people.

Some duties include

  • Support the design, development and delivery of Partner marketing activities in support of Breadth, Scale partner and Distribution partner strategy
  • Support communications team in the execution of Channel communications and webinars
  • Analysis of competitive Field and Partner Marketing
  • Conduct desk research
  • Gather feedback from Zebra partners and regional sales teams
  • Prepare competitive comparison documentation and presentations as required
  • Provide analysis and reporting in support of success measurement and score carding of KPI’s including:
  • Partner Newsletter readership

Digital Marketing Intern

The EMEA Demand Centre is responsible for driving demand across the EMEA region in collaboration with other local, regional and global teams. This Internship role will play an important part in assisting the EMEA Digital Marketing Manager, Global/Regional DCs, and EMEA Campaign Managers to execute the EMEA digital, Inbound and web tactics. This activity drives educational content that pulls customers towards Zebra’s website and content, where they can learn more about Zebra at their own pace (buyer journey), nurture them through the sales cycle from lead, to qualified lead, to customer. This is a unique opportunity to learn how digital marketing works on both a pan EMEA and local country level. If you are interested in developing your digital marketing skills in a leading technology company that is small enough for you to make an impact, this is an ideal role. Works closely with the Global Web and Social teams, EMEA Campaign Managers, Field Marketers and the Solutions and Products Team. In addition will have the opportunity to work with the wider EMEA Marketing team of 50+ people. The successful candidate will join the Zebra Industrial Placement Scheme, which will provide you with a broad range of opportunities designed to support your future career.

Some duties include

  • Web: Raising technical website changes; liaising with Global contacts to ensure web pages for EMEA are updated; support the Digital Marketing Manager and agencies in initiatives and optimisation; upload and optimise EMEA blogs; manage the website homepage changes.
  • Social Media: Update and manage the social media calendar; support Events Manager in scheduling social media communication across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn; responding to social media messages.
  • Other: Ownership of our internal newsletter; gathering data from Adobe Analytics, Oracle SRM etc; participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings.

Qualifications for both roles

  • Current university student; studying towards Business and/or Marketing Degree
  • Energetic with a flexible style and willing to tackle projects with enthusiasm.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Good with numbers, reporting and analytical skills
  • Organizational skills with an attention to detail
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Fluency in a second language desirable; Fluency in English essential
