We have an exciting opportunity for a paid internship within our European Logistics team, where you will be able to gain valuable work experience in a global FMCG company.
The opportunity
We are seeking an intern to join our European Logistics team, based in Folkestone, Kent on a 12 month contract commencing in Summer 2018. The role will incorporate a range of exciting projects, including helping to drive warehouse efficiency using our SAP platform, incorporating full stock control for all components through to our production site. This role will also be involved with stock control tasks for finished products held by our 3PL providers in the UK and Germany.
Our ideal candidate will be articulate, have an enquiring mind and be able to work on their own initiative. You must also be numerate and have experience manipulating data and spreadsheets.
Who we are looking for
We welcome applications from current students looking to undertake an industry placement year and also graduates seeking their first Logistic stock control opportunity.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an undergraduate/postgraduate ideally in Business Studies or a related subject.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to demonstrate a “can do” attitude and desire to continuously improve.
- Have an enquiring mind.
- Excellent numerate and IT skills.
- Be competent in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
