Scope of the Placement

As a Data/Business Analyst Intern you will play an important role in the company’s business analysis procedures and will assist in making recommendations for projects under your care. You will usually be working on several projects at the same time which are aimed at identifying cost saving opportunities and process improvements. You will be able to effect this by:

  • Supporting and handling sales analytics projects to ensure sales execution and achievement of growth objectives
  • Developing and managing reports and tools, ensuring sales reps and leaders have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
  • Implementing modifications to existing projects to improve systems
  • Assisting the Commercial Analytics team in monitoring project processes and resolving issues along the way
  • Addressing any data discrepancy issues across all open projects to the management
  • Writing and publishing progress reports, identify project milestones and recommend needed modifications

Preferred background & Qualifications

  • Undergraduate with a recognised business or science related program, or a Graduate (bachelor program or higher, 2:1 or above) preferred
  • Strong skill set with excel and MS access or other database tools
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Detail focused and task oriented skills
  • Strong Analytical Skill with the ability to collect, organize and analyse large amounts of data with accuracy
  • Creative individual, willing to think innovatively and come up with solutions to complex data
  • Previous experience in data management, data clean-up or similar activities and/or responsibilities is highly desirable as is being familiar with SAP ECC from a business support perspective

The Selection Process

Once your application has been submitted, our dedicated recruitment team will perform an initial review, and then contact shortlisted individuals via telephone, before inviting you to complete a digital, video interview. The culmination of our selection process is for the finalists to attend an all-day assessment centre event at our offices.

Assessment days scheduled for 6th & 7th March 2018.
