Finance Placement
Dyson is seeking for those taking a sandwich placement year to join our diverse and challenging Finance Placement programme.
By 2020, Dyson will add new product categories and over 100 products to our portfolio – taking us far beyond the vacuums that started the company more than 20 years ago. What remains the same is our innovative culture, entrepreneurial spirit, and focus on wrong thinking that makes us who we are. At Dyson our finance team engineer our financial success. From commercial forecasting and planning, to supporting investment in Research Design Development (RDD), we help the global business perform as well as our technology.
Joining our placement programme you’ll understand how our global business operates and the financial considerations that decisions are based upon behind the scenes. You can expect to be involved in management reporting, budgeting, planning, RDD investment and much more. If you excel during the year there’s the chance to continue your career as one of our Finance Graduates after your studies.
About You
We’re only looking for the brightest, most committed students to learn about Finance, how our business operates and the financial considerations that decisions are based upon. You’ll be an undergraduate seeking a 12- month placement from September 2018 and graduating in 2020 in a relevant analytical degree subject, demonstrating strong numeracy skills. You will have real responsibility here but we’ll expect a lot back so you will need to be able to network, work autonomously and show resilience.
