Learning and Talent Development Placement

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Talent & Leadership Development (EMEA) team for a 12-month Internship. During this internship you will assist in all administrative and operational activities involved within Operational Leadership Development and Talent Management. It is a great opportunity to experience both the operational and corporate side of the business.

What will I be doing?

Administrative 40%

  • Administers Hilton University (On line learning Management System) for Leadership Development activities
  • Compiling and maintaining records
  • Provides support in the maintenance of the Talent & Leadership Development team site, answering queries and forwarding on queries where necessary
  • Billing and Cross charging of events
  • Also manages a variety of departmental administration including but not limited to printing, preparing for training activities, assisting with emails and invoicing
  • Produces reports and management information within the required timescales
  • Creating online evaluation and or training programmes as the need arises

Tasks 30%

  • Producing/contributing to regular communication
  • Liaising with 3rd party suppliers
  • Attends internal meetings
  • Acts as day to day contact for all Hotel Operations Talent & Leadership Development enquiries
  • Assists in the orientation of new Learning & Talent Development Coaches/Administrators
  • Supporting and scheduling webinars
  • Working remotely with the EMEA team
  • Co-ordinating venue booking for training courses, negotiating rates, signing contracts
  • Analyses evaluations from training sessions and communicates this information as appropriate
  • Is accountable for the communication of the resolution of Talent & Leadership Development challenges and issues
  • Monthly reporting of evaluations and the communication thereof.

Training Delivery 15%

  • Conducting webinars, webinar support

Projects 15%

  • Taking part in projects as required
  • E.g. Apprenticeships, Graduate Programme etc.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain complex analytical topics to a wide audience.

  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Fluency in English language

Required Qualifications:

2:2 or above degree or working towards or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hotel Management or HR related degree e.g. Human Resources Management or a keen interest in progressing a career within this field
