Education Sales Associate

As a placement student at SAP, you will be an active member of the UKI Education Sales and Marketing team. SAP Education provides world-class training and development to customers looking to learn more about SAP software. This dynamic team is responsible for generating new business and account management along with creating and managing sales pipeline for the sales team. This is a great opportunity to work in a world leading team that provides outstanding coverage across the majority of business functions at SAP and one which can provide an intern with a great deal of industrial insight.

The role will predominately be in sales support, providing the Education sales head with weekly/monthly reports to track pipeline for forecast meetings, but also include assisting with marketing activities such as event planning and demonstrating educational software. A great opportunity to work in a world leading team that can provide an intern with a great deal of industrial insight.

Day-to-day tasks include

  • Supporting the sales team on the entire sales cycle, including managing leads and ensuring data quality
  • Supporting the sales head with weekly/monthly reports to track pipeline for forecast meetings
  • Support and manage events (Online & Offline Events)
  • An opportunity to work with the Demand Generation team, from creating ideas to running them and coordinating successful events
  • To have creative input and support marketing as well as internal communications
  • Support campaign planning by collating various reports for effective data analysis
  • Working with the team on customer-facing projects

Ideal Candidate

Bright, articulate and motivated students who are currently on course for a 2:1 degree with the following key competencies:

  • Business, accounting ,IT experience / working knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel)
  • Time Management
  • Team player
  • High energy level
  • Effective communicator / good interpersonal skills
  • Inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions
