The size and scope of our organisation allows our people to answer some of the biggest questions facing everyone on the planet – questions about future healthcare needs and questions about building a responsive, innovative, global business to meet them – as well as questions about their own personal and professional growth.

Business and Supply Chain Industrial Placements

We offer a wide variety of supply chain placements throughout the end-to-end supply chain, from forecasting demand, production planning, raw materials management, to warehousing and logistics and regional supply hubs. These placements are offered both in our manufacturing site in Worthing and in our offices in Brentford.

We also offer supply chain opportunities in ViiV, a joint venture which combines the power and expertise in the management of HIV from GSK, Pfizer and Shionogi. ViiV Healthcare’s supply chain team offer you an opportunity to be involved in the interface with the GSK, Pfizer and other third party manufacture and supply organisations, local businesses/customers in many International markets, regulatory support functions, Finance and ViiV Healthcare’s Government Affairs group.

Wherever you are based, you’ll be getting stuck in and playing a key part in ensuring our products reach our patients and consumers.

  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Distribution chains for complex products
  • Demand review (including gathering and understanding market intelligence on forecasts and supply chain complexities)
  • Inventory management
  • Building strong relationships with key third party suppliers
  • Working with suppliers, customers and colleagues from around the world.

What do I need to be studying?

A business-related, supply chain, logistics, mathematical or statistical degree would give you a head start. You'll also need ambition, a genuine interest in how our end to end supply chain works and a self-motivated, proactive approach.
