PR & Communications Placement
The Body Shop has a loud voice. We are looking for Interns to portray our brand the best way possible to the press. Supporting our PR strategy across markets around the world, you will create events and ‘media drops’ to ensure our new products are a success. You will create quarterly toolkits and constantly be on the lookout for our next celebrity and Instagram influencers to help us create buzz around our products. You will be busy sending out gift baskets to visiting celebrities, makeup artists, and influential people in the beauty industry.
Your Role
You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring that the day to day operations of our PR teams runs smoothly. You will also be involved in planning the communications strategy around our Enrich Not Exploit™ Commitment such as Community Trade, Forever Against Animal Testing and World Bio-Bridges Mission. This will include press releases, writing latest news for the website, handling media enquiries, writing blog posts and writing content for Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. If you’re lucky, you might get invited to influencer and beauty events throughout the year (the current Interns attended London Fashion Week and Beauty Con to conduct some trend research).

We are looking for undergraduates with excellent written and verbal skills and an understanding of the beauty industry. You will have an awareness of different communication tools and web skills, as well as the ability to interact with all areas of the business.
