What it’s all about?

Risk management is more important in banking today than ever before. That trend is only set to continue, putting Risk right at the heart of the way we do business. Becoming a Risk intern could be your first step toward defining the future of risk. It’s a tailored 10-week programme, during which you’ll see first-hand what it takes to protect our customers, colleagues and the communities we support in a way that’s simple, personal and fair.

Right from the start, you’ll work on innovative projects that will make a meaningful difference to our colleagues, customers and the communities we support. You’ll work alongside some of the most engaging colleagues in the business – making this the perfect place to build relationships, skills and knowledge.

Where you’ll work

Our rotations could take you anywhere in the UK including Milton Keynes, London, Manchester and Leicester, so some travel may be involved throughout the two-year programme.

Who we’re looking for

• A predicted 2:1 degree in any discipline, as well as 112 UCAS points, or their equivalent. The UCAS points expectations are based on the new UCAS scoring methodology
• A genuine passion for numbers and reasoning, and the ability to communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds
• The confidence to speak up with great ideas, embrace change and seek innovative new ways of doing things
• Ideally, experience within a position of responsibility at school, university or a club, as well as a history of working directly with customers
