About Nestlé

You know Nestlé. But you may not know about the delicious range of opportunities we offer across our business. Welcome to the Nestlé Academy.

We’re proud of our amazing range of globally recognised brands, including Nescafé, Buxton, Felix, Fruit Pastilles and everyone’s favourite, Quality Street. And the variety of projects and work we deliver at Nestlé are just as diverse, meaning everyone that joins us has every opportunity to develop skills and gain real experience in a company that’s leading the way.

Quality Assurance Internship

The structured 10-week Nestle Internship is an experience that could last you a lifetime. Our Interns have the chance to work with some of the world’s biggest and most-loved brands with fantastic opportunities to learn, develop and progress.

Quality is fundamental at Nestlé and as a member of the Quality Assurance team you will play a key role in ensuring and improving quality to help Nestlé continue to lead the way as a Food, Nutrition, Health & Wellness company.

What can you expect?

As a Quality Assurance Intern, you’ll be based at one of our factories or head office learning how we integrate, maintain and improve product quality from production to consumer, through making efficiency improvements to our quality system.  This will test your ability to deliver improvements and help you hone your leadership skills.

You will become fully integrated into the Quality Assurance team where you will work and build networks with a range of different functions, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Innovation & Renovation, as well as Quality teams in other factories and head office. You will spend a lot of time in the factory working with these functions to ensure product safety, legality and quality is maintained and improved. This will give you valuable insight into how different areas of the business work together to deliver results. We will give you full support to explore the function and understand our business.

If you are successful during the 10-week Quality Internship you may be considered in the selection process for the Quality Graduate programme the following year.

Who are we looking for?

Our Summer Internship programme is designed to help you build on certain strengths that we admire in our Graduates. We are looking for a quick learner, strong team player and talented organiser who is good at building relationships and focused on achieving results. Working in Quality Assurance, it is also important that you are a confident problem-solver and happy to take ownership of your decisions. Well-developed analytical skills will also stand you in good stead.
