About the Team
Underpinning our objective to become a global leader in innovative air traffic solutions, the principal function of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team is to continually enhance our end to end supply chains, procuring cost efficient, viable, risk managed and innovative solutions that deliver NATS strategy. The function adopts a category management approach to procurement in addition to an advanced Supplier Management and Partnership programme which underpins the delivery of projects and supports NATS’ ambitious growth agenda.
About the role
The role will offer broad commercial experience working in the day to day activities of the SCM team. In addition to undertaking some specific projects, the successful candidate will also be given regular responsibilities within the team; for example generating performance reports for senior management.
About the Candidate
Business, Finance or Engineering Related Degree Students.
Applicants should be studying for a degree with a specific focus on business, or finance where there is a strong commercial focus and be competent in MS Office applications together with the ability to utilise internet tools for research activities.
Personal qualities required include excellent literacy and numeracy skills, self-confidence, an enthusiastic and positive approach, and the ability to both work as part of a team and to communicate effectively at all levels. The candidate should be well organised, self-motivated and able to take responsibility for their own workload including planning and prioritising to meet deadlines.
Although no specific experience is required, applicants should provide details of any work experience to date, together with the relevant personal qualities they have developed through extra-curricular activities.
