We have amazing opportunities for you to help us change the way we run our business. You could join our busy Programmes team that help to ensure various projects are run on time and achieve success. Or maybe working within our specialist training department, getting involved in supporting and developing a progressive training facility. We also have a large and dynamic Engineering division you can join, where you will be actively designing, maintaining and developing new technology that will change the face of Air Traffic Management in the UK.

Principle Accountabilities



With our 12 month placement and graduate opportunities, you will get first-hand experience of the Aviation industry. The industrial placement is an ideal opportunity for those who are studying a degree course with a sandwich year, to develop your skills and gain an invaluable exposure to a global business. The scheme is designed to provide 12 months of stimulating experience to give highly motivated students an insight in to the world of aviation. As such, you will undertake two 6 month placements in various sections to refine your skills and build your confidence.

You’ll get the chance to work on live projects as an integral part of a highly skilled team; to deliver tangible output, ensuring that NATS maintains its place as a world-class air traffic service provider.

Qualifications & Skills

We would like you to be working towards a 2:1 Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in a relevant subject.

You should be an excellent communicator, confident in your abilities and have a mature, proactive approach to work. Strong problem solving skills and a highly analytical mind are key; as are commitment, drive and energy. It goes without saying that you’ll have a demonstrable interest in your subject outside of your studies. Aside from that, all we ask is that you meet the general health standards as defined by the NATS medical branch and you must be eligible for NATS security clearance.
