Sales Support Placement

The intern will work on the Sales Desk assisting with the daily back office administration and telephone support to customers and Area Business Managers. This experience will provide a strong customer service foundation whilst immersed in a fast paced and changing sales environment.

Main areas of responsibility with relevant KPIs are:-

  • Telephone call handling
  • Process, amend and cancel customer orders
  • Progress chase orders
  • Provide stock availability/analysis and subsequent management reporting
  • Administration of returns/credits/debits

Qualifications required

Education

  • Working towards a Business Management degree

Experience

  • Strong analytical/numeracy and problem solving skills
  • Multitasking/Prioritising
  • Thorough with excellent attention to detail
  • Resourceful and innovative with methods and ideas to support

Profile

  • Background and interest in Customer Services
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, to maintain excellent attention to detail and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Team player with communication skills at all levels
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
