Finance Placement
Join us on our Finance internship programme and you’ll have the chance to explore the key role that finance plays in our success, learning how finance is integrated into every aspect of our complex business. You’ll have opportunities to work with a wide range of departments as you rotate between teams within the function – whether you know you are more interested in the technical or strategic aspects of finance, or want to find out where your passion lies, you will have the opportunity to gain real work experience at Heathrow. Day to day, you could be involved in our strategies for building a sustainable future business model, working with our finance business partners to support our operation, or gaining real experience on projects involving financial reporting, tax and much more.
The internship can last between 10 and 12 months and would be ideal either as a university placement or for a graduate who wants to see their career take off. The aim is to help you develop quickly and build a strong foundation for the future.
To help you make the most of your time with us, we offer ongoing guidance and support, and there will be lots of opportunities for you to learn from experienced managers and colleagues. And when you reach the end of your programme, the opportunities will just be beginning, as there will be a huge range of career paths open to you in our business, including the chance to progress onto our Future Leaders Graduate Programme or secure a permanent role within your function.
