Communications Associate

The Communications team at SAP is responsible for ensuring effective communication both internally and externally. This incorporates employee communications, Public Relations (PR) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In this role you will:

  • Drive and influence a positive perception of SAP UKI with internal and external audiences
  • Reinforce SAP’s corporate and regional strategy
  • Generate positive and relevant press coverage in the media
  • Support the Managing Directors office and Senior Management team with communications, events and social media platforms
  • Responsible for the UKI CSR program, including motivating executives and employees to engage in CSR activities

Strategic Tasks and Responsibilities include:

  • Help create and distribute internal collateral such as company newsletters, business updates, company announcements and CSR programs
  • Support the project management and execution of internal events
  • Manage company meetings such employee all-hands and coffee corners
  • Draft press releases to support the Head of Public Relations
  • Assist the MD and senior leaders with content for social media platforms
  • Support CSR initiatives across SAP

Ideal Candidate:

Bright, articulate and motivated students who are currently on course for a 2:1 degree with the following key competencies:

  • Business, accounting ,IT experience / working knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel)
  • Time Management
  • Team player
  • High energy level
  • Effective communicator / good interpersonal skills
  • Inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions
  • Logical
  • Focused and organised
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within budget
