Business Operations Associate

The Operations roles are divided into two: Sales Operations associates and Global Sales Operations as part of the S/4HANA Cloud team. Please specify in your cover letter which role you wish to apply for.

UKI Sales Operations Associate:

You will be an active member of the operations team. You will gain insight and input into strategic leadership activities in a fast-growing organisation. You will be supporting operations with forecasting and revenue generation in a team responsible for ensuring that SAP customers’ investments are delivering ongoing, unsurpassed value. Other responsibilities will include ensuring data is maintained correctly to enable UKI sales team success as well as having scope and support to take responsibility for your own projects. There is also the opportunity to gain experience working with data testing, improve your analytic skills and get a unique insight into the working in multiple aspects of SAP Sales.

Day to day tasks include:

  • Providing enablement support to sales, ensuring system access and training for all new hires and existing staff.
  • Giving guidance to sales regarding SAP policies and procedures with the aim of maximizing revenues for the UKI Market.
  • Creating and refining reporting that supports UKI sales and are utilized by senior management.
  • Contributing to regional customer experience projects
  • Forecasting
  • Supporting marketing and communications activities including driving strategy for creative & digital assets.
  • Supporting the definition and rollout of a global services portfolio.

S/4HANA Cloud Global Sales Operations Associate:

S/4HANA Cloud is at the core of SAP’s cloud first strategy, and is the world’s first intelligent public cloud ERP suite. You will have access to senior leadership and the opportunity to begin building a professional network globally. You will also gain exposure to all other aspects of the business. During your placement you will gain a deep understanding of how a large, international corporation is managed and the various levels of decision making that occur to ensure its success. You will also be given the opportunity to be involved in key business decisions and also improve soft skills such as organisation, communication and time management.

Day to day tasks include:

  • Supporting the global team with relevant and timely business analysis and reporting.
  • Providing in-depth analysis of key wins and losses.
  • Collating deal information from the relevant opportunity owners in SAP to help in the forecasting and driving of deals.
  • Providing day to day operational support to the global S/4HANA Cloud sales team.
  • Dealing with ad hoc requests (e.g. pipeline requests & analysis) from team members across the different regions.
  • Organise and actively participate in next-quarter deal programs and reviews.
  • Providing timely updates and reports for senior members of the S/4HANA Cloud team.

With 30% of your time available for other cross-departmental projects, you will gain invaluable exposure in other business areas.

Ideal Candidate:

Bright, articulate and motivated students who are currently on course for a 2:1 degree with the following key competencies:

  • Business, accounting, IT experience / working knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel)
  • Time management
  • Team player
  • High energy level
  • Effective communicator / good interpersonal skills
