About Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS)

We provide finance and insurance services to customers across the entire Volkswagen Group. One of the most unexpected things about VWFS is that we don’t just provide solutions for Volkswagen. We also work with a variety of amazing brands that include Audi, SEAT, SKODA, Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and MAN.

You might imagine you’ll need a finance degree and a wardrobe full of grey suits to work at VWFS. Not true. We’re smart casual in the office, informal in how we work together and we’re looking for students with diverse skills, backgrounds and ideas to join our journey.

Our Marketing Placements

Here in Marketing we value students who bring an organised, creative and customer focused approach to the business. As a department, we work with some of the most recognisable automotive brands in the UK brands to produce creative materials in order to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.

During your year placement you will gain experience in various Marketing disciplines to really build on the knowledge that you have already learned at University. Some of the main responsibilities include:

• Project managing initiatives, including proof checking artwork and managing external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
• Conducting industry research to help identify the future campaign landscape
• Assisting in identifying and defining the most effective solutions for specified new developments
• Updating all customer facing content across digital media, platforms and channels, including Social Media, Search Engine Optimisation and internal Content Management Systems

You’ll need to be studying towards a Marketing or Business related degree, be confident and able to communicate at all levels across the business along with a willingness to take ownership, whilst also working as part of a team.
