About Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS)
We provide finance and insurance services to customers across the entire Volkswagen Group. One of the most unexpected things about VWFS is that we don’t just provide solutions for Volkswagen. We also work with a variety of amazing brands that include Audi, SEAT, SKODA, Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and MAN.
You might imagine you’ll need a finance degree and a wardrobe full of grey suits to work at VWFS. Not true. We’re smart casual in the office, informal in how we work together and we’re looking for students with diverse skills, backgrounds and ideas to join our journey.
Our HR Placements
The Human Resources department within Volkswagen Financial Services work closely with all areas of the business to support them in delivering the people strategy within their functional areas. Our purpose is to enable high performance, potential and reputation to ensure VWFS is recognised as the best automotive finance company in the UK.
During your year placement you will gain experience in various HR related disciplines so you can really build on the knowledge that you have already learned at University. You will have the opportunity to assist our employees in their development, act as the first point of point to the business and support us in recruiting new talent in to the business.
You’ll need to be studying towards a HR or Business related degree, have good organisations skills, the ability to communicate effectively and excellent attention to detail.

From mentoring in local schools to formal presentations to the Board of Management, this is a varied, inspiring 12-month experience that you’ll never forget.
On top of all that you’ll receive an annual salary of £17,500, a discretionary bonus, 27 days holiday along with a new loan car every six months.
