About Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS)
We provide finance and insurance services to customers across the entire Volkswagen Group. One of the most unexpected things about VWFS is that we don’t just provide solutions for Volkswagen. We also work with a variety of amazing brands that include Audi, SEAT, SKODA, Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and MAN.
You might imagine you’ll need a finance degree and a wardrobe full of grey suits to work at VWFS. Not true. We’re smart casual in the office, informal in how we work together and we’re looking for students with diverse skills, backgrounds and ideas to join our journey.
Our Business Change Placement
Our Business Transformation team are an energetic and growing team whose aim is to deliver end to end solutions and help to drive the company’s success even further by providing efficient solutions that underpin the whole Customer Experience.
If you are looking for a placement where you will learn quickly and gain exposure to a fast paced, forward thinking team, then this is the role for you.
During your year placement you will rotate every three months period in each function within Business Transformation: Portfolio Management, Business Process Improvements, Project Management and Business Transition. You will gain experience in various Business disciplines to really build on the knowledge that you have already learned at University. Some of the main responsibilities include:
- Supporting the planning & initiation of projects whilst providing effective analysis & management information on the status & performance of projects
- Assisting with high impact business improvement projects
- Conducting interviews and workshops with the business to gather and document detailed and defined business requirements
- Supporting with the impact of change across the organisation, business processes and business systems
You’ll need to be studying towards a Business related degree, have strong communication skills and be proactive, adaptable and willing to take on responsibility, whilst also working as part of a team.
