Eligibility
In order to be eligible for our Software Development Internship Programme, you must be completing an undergraduate Computing or Engineering related degree that requires (or has an option for) a year’s industrial placement. Also, you must be on track to receive a 2:1 or higher.
In addition to above educational requirements, you must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to commence the placement at the beginning of July 2018 for 13 months.
Requirements
- Any experience in the following languages is desirable: assembly code or any other embedded system development; C, C# or C++; Java; Python
- Interest in any of the following areas is desirable: Computer architecture, Concurrent programming/multi-threading, Embedded systems, Linux, Networks and communications
- Knowledge of Operating Systems principles
- Strong team working skills
- Effective time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools
- Good attention to detail and effective initiative
- A can-do attitude and willingness to leave your comfort zone
