What you’ll do

You’ll learn all about the importance of accurate pricing to E.ON’s success in the energy market. At the same time, you’ll discover the career opportunities open to you while you:

  • Get to grips with accurate core pricing and costing data for our financial, quoting and billing systems
  • Build great working relationships with your colleagues in Sales, Portfolio Optimisation, Finance and Information Services
  • Help the sales team hit their targets as you hit your deadlines
  • Devise, recommend and implement new pricing initiatives that should add value to the business.

This placement could well prepare you for a future with us. Shine and we may fast-track you to the last stage of assessment for one of our graduate schemes. After that you could secure a career with us as a Pricing, Costing or Commodity Analyst, as a Junior Finance Partner, or even in a related sales, trading or commercial role.

What we’re looking for

  • Working towards a 2:1 in a Science, Mathematics or Statistics degree Commercial acumen
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Clear communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel and the desire to improve
  • Resilience and ambition
