Trainee Quantity Surveyor Placement

Energy Installation Services at E.ON offers a range of energy efficient measures to help improve homes and lifestyles. You’ll support our Quantity Surveying team deliver the successful commercial management of major build or heating and generation works – minimising costs, enhancing value for money and carrying out everything to our exacting standards.

What you’ll do

This is a Year in Industry placement where you’ll help to manage the full supply chain – from re-measurements and contractual notification, to sub-contract negotiations. This includes:

  • Ensuring the supply chain is fully approved
  • Assisting with procurement plans
  • Helping with tender production
  • Supporting negotiations
  • General quantity surveying duties (such as ongoing cost analysis and monitoring of performance).

This placement could well prepare you for a future with us. Shine and we may fast-track you to the last stage of assessment for one of our graduate schemes. Equally, with the chance to explore our business whilst you’re here, you could be invited to progress through our commercial team.

What we’re looking for

  • You’re working towards a 2:1 construction degree.
  • You are customer-focused and a natural relationship builder.
  • You possess both leadership skills, yet are a great team player.
  • A full UK Driving Licence and flexible approach to working.
  • You like change and are comfortable challenging the status quo.
