IT Placement

In a world of ‘Big Data’, ‘The Cloud’, ‘Internet of Things’ and ‘Digital Disruption’ technology is vital to the continued success of Allianz. Our IT department works with the business to design and deliver innovative technology solutions to ensure that Allianz remains at the forefront of the insurance sector. With placements across several areas of IT, this placement year is an opportunity for you to work on key programmes of work to support a business rapidly changing due to digital demand. You’ll be primarily based in our Guildford Head Office.

Over the course of a year you’ll be working on a wide range of transformational business projects. During this time you’ll be learning, developing your skills and helping to solve real business challenges through innovation - all with plenty of support from experienced managers and peers. You’ll be able to see for yourself how your work adds value to the business and apply your newly-enhanced knowledge to positively impact and improve our future, becoming fully prepared for a career in IT.

Selection criteria

• Penultimate or final year of studies of undergraduate degree in any subject
• On target for a 2:1 level or above
• Valid work permit for permanent work in the UK without restrictions after graduation
