From day one as an intern, you will be given real responsibility, with your work directly impacting Travelport’s success. As a valued member of our team, you will work alongside experienced professionals on a variety of activities to help deliver against key department initiatives and strategic projects. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in charity activities recognized company-wide which has proven to be successful with our previous Interns raising an astonishing £11,716 for their chosen charities.

Travelport is currently looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join the Marketing team in a 12-13 month placement commencing summer 2018. This is a great opportunity to build on your marketing knowledge, your business skills and to gain some experience in an international travel technology company. We place a large amount of trust in our interns, allowing them to work with vital company information and giving them the freedom to manage their own workloads.

What might your role involve?

Internships in this area will involve supporting the digital marketing team across a number of disciplines. You will work with key stakeholders to ensure the implementation of the global digital strategy, including CRM, Marketing Automation, content management, digital advertisement and social media management. The digital internship will play a key role as the business continues to innovate in this area.

Depending on your department you may also be involved in:

  • Supporting the Global BDM sales team with a focus on marketing organisation and delivery.
  • Managing the Marketing Mailbox and responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Managing both internal and external communication that inform, advertise and celebrate our achievements.

What is Travelport looking for?

Marketing Interns must:

  • Be working towards a 2:1 or above
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to work independently
  • Be able to work effectively with colleagues
  • Have a high degree of accuracy
  • Be well organised with the ability to multi-task
  • Be proactive and resourceful, with an enthusiastic and driven approach.
