Future Talent Coordinator Industrial Placement

An exciting opportunity for an undergraduate to join our thriving HR department as a Future Talent Co-ordinator. We are offering a 12 month Industrial Placement that will give you responsibility for a number of initiatives and activities.

The Future Talent team is part of the wider Group Talent Acquisition project and is responsible for designing, developing and implementing future talent programmes across the UK. We provide advice and guidance on initiatives and development programmes for talented people and work with local schools, colleges and universities on employability and marketing campaigns. The Future Talent Co-ordinator will focus on enhancing our employer brand, working with local educational partners on getting young people ‘work ready’ and driving recruitment and HR best practice in the business. The successful candidate will be based at our Head Office in Hatfield, Hertfordshire but will get the opportunity to travel across the UK as part of the role.

WHAT WILL I GAIN FROM THE PROGRAMME?

  • Experience in designing and executing recruitment campaigns within schools, colleges and universities, assessment centres and inductions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruitment drives for apprenticeships, and undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
  • University and school outreach strategy
  • Assessment centres and on-boarding of new talent
  • Employment marketing campaigns
  • Social media for Future Talent across LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
  • Supporting our wider HR teams in the UK and across the globe on Future Talent strategy and resourcing

WHAT CRITERIA DO I NEED TO MEET TO APPLY?

We’re seeking enthusiastic and energetic undergraduates, studying any degree discipline, with a desire to work in HR, and an interest in recruitment, talent development and marketing, including social media. There will be a key focus on business strategy, project management and autonomous working.

In terms of characteristics we are looking for applicants who:

  • Are driven and committed to provide outstanding levels of service
  • Enjoy team collaboration and can build good working relationships at all levels
  • Can adapt to situations, stepping out of their comfort zone to solve problems and make decisions
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions on how we can be more innovative
  • Are highly organised with the ability to learn and analyse information quickly
  • Have a good knowledge of working with Microsoft Office applications
