Marketing Placement

Joining our dedicated and talented team for 12 months at our Hoddesdon site as a placement student will help build a strong foundation for success in your future.

This placement is an opportunity to join a dedicated and talented marketing team, working within one of our business units. Within your 12 months here at MSD you will be based at our head office in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.

Key responsibilities

• Support the marketing team in your respected brand
• Help develop the evolving digital strategy in line with brand objectives
• Operation of finance and stock management systems
• Develop & work with field and cross functional teams to support the franchise, including business insights, creative, medical and legal
• Lead internal and promotional activities in our Audio Visual studio
• Ownership of assigned projects, aligned to franchise goals and/or brand strategies e.g asset development, briefing documents, operational meetings

Education

• Working towards a minimum of a 2:1 degree
• Business, Marketing or Science degrees preferred
• Entering your third or penultimate year of study, returning to your degree course at the end of the placement
• A*/A in one or more of the following A Level subjects: Biology/Maths/Chemistry/Business

• Stage 3 - If successful at stage 2, you will be invited to a telephone interview
• Stage 4 - And finally, if you’ve impressed us through Stages 1 -3, we’ll invite you to an assessment centre where you will take part in a variety of activities and have the opportunity to gain a better insight into MSD (w/c 11th December 2017)

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to meet fellow students before commencing the placement and have a handover with the current student.
