Product & Promotions Co-ordinator

Brief description of department

Working in the truck industry is both a rewarding and yet demanding experience. Our customers require their vehicles to be on the road 24/7, and as a result we need to develop the products and aftermarket services to help them meet that goal and maximise their business potential. We strive to attain the highest levels of customer service, together with affordable & quality parts.

The Renault Trucks (RT) Service Market department has a very diverse range of responsibilities, and therefore requires people with a broad set of skills. The RT Commercial Support & Group Logistics Team has the task of positioning our parts offer within the marketplace, whilst increasing our market share. We seek to do this through competitive parts price positioning, benchmarking against our competitors, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

The Renault Trucks Commercial Support & Group Logistics team operates within the Service Market department, which has responsibility for all Aftermarket support for each of the Volvo Group Truck UK operating brands (Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, and our extended offer Road Crew).

About the role

Responsibilities

Working on various projects, the successful candidate will learn about different areas of the department which will provide them with a strong foundation for continuing and completing their degree.

Several key projects would include:

  • Carrying out a comprehensive review and assessment of our aftermarket customer loyalty scheme (PARTS4U) and bringing forward proposals to enhance this further, especially through digital marketing channels.

  • Manage and further develop our internal dealer performance reporting system, liaising closely with external agencies and internal business functions as appropriate.
  • Assist the Pricing & Product Manager in planning promotional campaigns and programmes.
  • Develop processes to follow up on campaign success – including post-campaign analysis and reporting.
  • Relaunch a monthly Service Market dealer communication package, covering both our parts and service offering, highlighting best practices and showcasing network achievements.

Other Duties:
In addition to the core projects, this role will also support the wider remit of the Renault Trucks Service Market team, with a range of tasks to support team deliverables for the successful applicant.

  • General assistance to other members of the Renault Trucks Service Market team as required, in particular with actions relating to parts pricing, analysis, and reporting.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
