UKI Sales (CD) Placement

This role will pitch you into the middle of a dynamic, leading edge business unit where you will be expected to role your sleeves up and work hard/play hard. Continuous Delivery is one of the newest CA business units and the expectations on its growth are high.

As a new Sales associate your goal will be to help us grow the business unit year on year by 20%. This will involve helping to create processes and events which bring in new opportunities for the Sales team. You will interact with prospects and customers to convert interest into business meetings and you will help the Sales team win. In short you will be helping the team to be successful.

What you will learn

  • How to drive Sales pipeline growth via an Agile marketing methodology
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to help arrange pipeline development events
  • Gain insight into how a software unit team is run
  • Use of core business tools such as, Salesforce.com, Power BI, LinkedIn, RainKing, Discovery.org, Twitter and more
  • To be at the very forefront of Sales and experience selling from the ground up within a global leader in enterprise software solutions
  • About one of the quickest growing technology areas at present, the DevOps space.

The ideal candidate

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Ideally studying towards a degree in Business Management, Technology, Marketing etc.
  • Is considering a career in IT software Sales and is looking to gain vital experience
  • Driven, focused, motivated self-starter
  • Willing to learn and hard working
  • Happy to work alone or as part of a team
  • Outgoing and social with good networking skills
  • Good understanding of business and corporate culture
  • IT Savvy
  • Strong desire and ability to undertake social selling via established social media channels
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Have strong communication skills - ability to interact well across a diverse team and with senior business leaders
  • A keen interest in technology and how it is shaping everyday lives
