Sales Operations UKI Placement

The Sales Operations UKI Team is responsible for managing the key business metrics, executing activities related to planning, business tools and processes to ensure the UK Sales Team can meet their targets. The Sales Operations UKI Intern role involves participating in Sales Forecast Leadership meetings in the London Office to review and discuss current/potential business opportunities with the UK Sales Directors. As a Sales Operations Intern you experience the core operational functions of the Sales organisation, understand the end-to-end sales lifecycle and develop reports to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the business.

What you will learn

  • Business Intelligence (BI) and analysis - key data/metric driven business decisions via highly effective, compelling BI products, presentations and communications
  • Use of core business tools such as, Salesforce.com, Power BI, Qlikview and more.
  • Analysis of business requirements to provide the appropriate solution via the best platform
  • Automation of data management and introduction of new BI systems, bespoke reports and business process improvements
  • Aiding Sales Reps with new business processes and tools
  • Management and production of salesforce.com dashboards and reports
  • Supporting the continuous efforts of the department to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the organization.
  • Along with additional opportunities in related projects

The ideal candidate

  • Undergraduates who are ideally on the Finance, Business or similar degree (other degrees will be considered if the applicant can demonstrate strong analytical, decision-making, problem solving and numeracy skills)
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Ideally be on track for a 2:1 or above in their chosen degree subject
  • Be driven, well focused, organised and punctual
  • Capable of performing well independently as well as a member of a team
  • Have a strong interest in business and data analysis
  • Have strong communication skills - ability to interact well across a diverse team and with senior business leaders
  • Have an expert knowledge of Excel 2013
  • A keen interest in technology and how it is shaping everyday lives
