Consulting – Technology Placement - Deloitte Digital

As an IP, you’ll immerse yourself in your client’s business and establish meaningful relationships from day one.   • Developer: As an Analyst Developer you will be a part of the team that helps our clients operate successfully in the digital world, working across the entire delivery lifecycle. You will contribute to building web and mobile experiences that transform the way they interact with their customers
  • Designer: You’ll be responsible for the design, interaction and brand experience of cutting-edge digital applications across new and emerging technologies. For us, creative is not just about designing user interfaces, it’s about innovating on your feet to solve real world problems, and executing them in an intuitive, engaging and delightful way. It’s about merging the physical brand experience into a seamless digital one. And it’s about bringing fresh ideas to every interaction, from the first tap to the last click.
  • Data Scientist: As a Data Scientist you will be a part of the team that helps our clients make sense of the vast quantity data generated in a digital world and use it to drive their business. You will contribute to designing and building analytical models, tools and applications to transform the way that our clients gather, understand and use data. Some examples of what your role may involve include:
  • Digital Consultant: As a digital consultant your role is crucial at the beginning of the delivery lifecycle. You may be helping clients define their digital value proposition, conducting digital capability assessments or using your knowledge of digital trends and research to help shape the business case to revolutionise your clients current product or service offering. Working in an agile delivery framework and being an advocate for Agile principles you will turn innovation into reality quickly by providing the client with the insights they need to make decisions fast and get the project moving from design into development. This role is all about innovating on your feet to solve real world problems, and having the ability to translate current digital trends into tangible relevant solutions for your client.
  • Business Analyst: As a business analyst, you will support the design and delivery of digital products, acting as a link between the business and the developers. You will be working in an agile delivery framework such as Scrum or Kanban and you will be an advocate for Agile principles. You will be working both alongside the business to elaborate and refine the design of the their product and also working closely with developers to provide and clarify business requirements. Platforms & Products you will be working alongside may include IOS & Android, Hybris ecommerce, Adobe Marketing Cloud, etc.

Your professional experience

  • Use your curiosity, imagination, critical thinking and judgement to analyse complex problems, work out what’s important and deliver bespoke solutions.
  • ‘Access all areas’ of your client’s business to understand its inner workings, helping you develop your business acumen, commercial skills and industry knowledge, as well as developing far reaching and often senior relationships.
  • Take on more intellectually challenging work, while technology takes care of the repetitive manual tasks. We’re using automation and cognitive technology to free up our people for more analytical work, and to provide a higher quality audit.
  • Take responsibility very early in your career – quickly supervising, coaching and mentoring your own teams.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, working collaboratively in like-minded teams.
  • Experience different cultures and local business practices, working with colleagues and clients around the world. As well as enjoying opportunities for national and international travel.

  • Aiding innovation through research and application of solutions for clients
  • Supporting resolution of business problems, or helping clients to grow their business by using technology
  • Supporting reviews of current client projects and identifying issues and areas of opportunity
  • Gathering requirements for technical specifications or design
  • Learning and applying core project management skills to work for our clients
  • Working closely with colleagues and clients to identify improvements or risks for the project
