Finance European Placement

We’ll give you real responsibility – fast. Finance at TJX Europe is dynamic, strategic and forward-looking, so you won’t be balancing the books. Instead, you’ll work with all parts of the business and get great exposure to different ways of working, plus our diverse and talented teams.

As you’ll work in one of our core Finance areas, you’ll have the chance to gain in-depth professional knowledge of one particular area, as well as an appreciation for the wider business. You’ll also develop an understanding of how finance adds real value to everything we do. The skills you grow might include financial reporting, analysis and accountancy techniques.

Wherever your placement takes you, you’ll get lots of training, both on and off the job. The skills you’ll need

Alongside the requirements listed below, if you have European language skills – particularly German or Polish – that would be great. And if you’ve lived and worked in Europe, even better. In a business like ours, these are great assets to have.

• Studying towards a degree in any discipline – but must have a genuine interest in finance
• About to undergo a 12-month Industrial Placement as part of your third year
• Natural curiosity, flexibility and a talent for connecting with people
• Good communication skills are really important, as challenging views and influencing decisions will be a big part of your role
