Technology Placement
You will be part of a team of electrical engineers, designers and technicians that are responsible for delivering innovative solutions to a variety of interesting and complex engineering challenges on collaborative projects primarily for the STFC science programme. This will involve the design, assembly, installation and performance testing of engineering systems to be located at various international science facilities.
Sandwich Student Opportunities available in Technology:
- Applied Scientist/Engineer
- Materials and Chemistry Technician
- Electrical Engineer Sandwich Student
- UKATC Systems Engineer
The above opportunities would suit those studying towards a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Physics/Engineering/Chemistry/Materials Science and multidisciplinary engineering such as Mechatronics, Photonics, Optronics, Astronomical Instrumentation or Applied Physics.
