Summer Internships
Our 10-week summer placements are aimed at undergraduates in their first, second or penultimate year of university who want to gain practical work experience to support their studies.
After completing a one day induction to learn about Mace and our services, summer placements will gain real responsibility working on live projects. These projects will stretch you throughout your placement and your line manager will give you clear responsibilities to develop your skills and experience.
Students who perform well in their summer placement may be offered further employment opportunities with Mace, relevant to their year of study. In fact, Mace were ranked the 35th top undergraduate employer in 2016 and over 90% of the students who completed industrial placements in 2016 are returning to join our graduate programme in 2017.
We are currently offering placements in the following area:
- Quantity Surveying - Commercial Management - London
Who we look for:
- You must be in your first, second or penultimate year studying towards a degree with a predicted grade of a 2.1 or above
- A passion towards working in the construction industry
- 240 UCAS points achieved from three A Levels (excluding general studies) and GCSE grade C or above for Maths and English
- Evidence of skills developed from extra-curricular activity.
