HR Placement
Only by recruiting and retaining the best talent will we achieve our business ambitions in the highly competitive and fast-moving UK automotive industry. You will support our employees to develop and grow to achieve their personal and professional ambitions. Working as the first point of contact for the business, you will be advising our managers on a range of queries and policies to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
What's in it for you?
As an Undergraduate on one of our placements, you’ll receive a £17,500 salary, as well as a new car every four months (as long as you have a full, clean UK driving licence). What do you need?
To be successful in this role you’ll need to be a strong team player with the ability to adapt and analyse information to make sound recommendations. You’ll be pro-active, positive and delivery focused, with effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Our placement is open to any student at a UK university who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for 12 months from June 2018. You should be on a sandwich degree or course which offers a one-year industrial placement. We have a duty of care to our people and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so we require Undergraduates to be based within a 20 mile radius of our Milton Keynes head office.
What’s the assessment process?
If you pass our initial CV screening stage, you’ll be invited to a telephone interview where you’ll be asked a number of questions to assess your suitability for the placement. If you’re identified as a stand-out candidate, we’ll invite you to one of our assessment centres, where you’ll meet some of our Managers and other Undergraduates. This process is designed to help us both work out if a Placement here is right for you. Successful candidates will be offered a place soon after the assessment centre.
