Procurement Industrial Placement
Procurement is a pioneering, influencing function; with over 900 members across more than 50 countries we buy goods and services on a global scale. But we do more in global procurement than just purchase things. We partner with business units to drive value from supplier relationships to support GSK’s strategies and targets to ensure a secure supply in all areas of our business – from consumer health products to pharmaceutical development. Our 12 month industrial placements offer the opportunity to work with our various teams to support the business requirements both internally and externally. You would engage with key stakeholders across our Pharmaceutical, Vaccines and Consumer Healthcare businesses.
The procurement placement is an outstanding opportunity to support the commercial ambitions of GSK and take on exciting challenges and add value to the business. You will be provided with a solid grounding in Procurement during your rotation in either direct – or indirect Procurement - that will push you to your limits. From day one you will be given direct responsibility to manage spend across various categories working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver value to your customer and ultimately the patient or consumer.
