Department information
Our Structuring and Quantitative Analytics department sits between our trading and origination desks providing pricing and deal risk management services for new and existing deals as well as structuring services for bespoke products. Our Quantitative Analysis team has direct responsibility over the development and maintenance of the Company’s quantitative pricing libraries and provides front office analysis support for traders.
Main responsibilities
You will gain exposure in undertaking model research, including analysis of possible or necessary approximations, development of prototypes and determination of the most appropriate approach. You will also be able to assist in the implementation of agreed models into EDF Trading’s Derivatives Trading system and gain exposure in maintaining calibration / estimation of parameters of market data models.
Experience required
Working towards a quantitative subject; degree in maths, physics or engineering. Ideally, you will also have good programming skills in C++ and Matlab.
