Marketing & Events Intern
Veracode is currently looking for a dynamic, creative and highly organised Marketing Intern. In this role you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as assisting with events, communications initiatives, demand generation campaigns, and marketing systems and tools. This is a broad, hands-on role for a highly organised self-starter who has a strong interest in building their practical marketing skills, and gaining additional insight into how a global marketing organisation functions.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting events – preparing shipments, organising event materials, post event follow-up
- Analysis of previous campaigns to measure success and work with marketing team on results for improvement
- Opening and managing requests in Jira (marketing project management tool)
- Assistance with graphic design projects as needed
- Work with finance to track POs, credit card spend and updating budget with actual spend
- Market research both regionally and by sector/account
- Work on speaker abstracts and researching relevant speaking opportunities
- Update internal and external website with EMEA content and work with global ops team on web analytics
- Research and analyse event opportunities both from marketing and sales
- Sort lead lists and work with ops team to get them into salesforce
- Audit marketing collateral and giveaways and order more as necessary
- Create/update graphics for signage, advertising and presentations
- Office management tasks as and when needed
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications:
- Currently studying a Marketing/Events degree
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Desire to work in a growing tech company and fast paced environment
- Ability to work and interact effectively with employees in the field and corporate teams based overseas
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Graphic design skills a plus
