Operations Student Placement

We have an exciting future ahead, with our focus on continuing to build on the success of our service offering whilst also working to drive efficiency throughout all of the processes in our business, and that’s where you come in.
 
Our Operations function is at the heart of what we do, ensuring that we deliver for our customers each and every day. In order to make sure that we are working as efficiently and productively as possible, we have an opportunity where you will play a vital role in supporting on high level and strategic projects within our Operations function.
 
In order to gain as much exposure as possible and to enhance your input into projects, this placement will be made up of four rotations covering; inductions into various business areas, Fleet & Engineering, Hubs & Linehaul and Ground Operations. A large part of the role will be focused around utilising your analytical skills to assist on projects that are all about delivering change and enhancing performance throughout the function.

What you’ll need

• To be studying for a degree that offers a placement year opportunity
• Hold a full EU driving licence
• To be able to demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills and to be comfortable interpreting data
• Have the ability to work using own initiative at times
• The ability to work effectively with different stakeholder groups
