UK Process Engineer Industrial Placement

Accountable for developing, maintaining and improving the day to day process standards on manufacturing or tissue-converting assets, you’ll have the opportunity to provide technical support for existing assets, the operations teams, as well as provide process expertise to the Technicians and Asset Engineers. Leading trials and projects to support business development you’ll also work on projects to deliver improved product, process or equipment performance.

Duties and responsibilities:

Reporting to the head of process engineering, you will be responsible for supporting all day to day process activities, and improvements, within your asset area (typically valued between $2.0 million to $10 million). You will be required to support other asset areas and project work from time to time, focusing on operations, sustainability as well as regeneration.

The individual:

To be considered you will need to currently be studying an engineering-related qualification at degree level, or equivalent. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous. Along with this you will need to be numerate, computer literate and able to confidently communicate with Operational, Engineering and Management teams.
