As an intern you will work with the Cross-Border Investments team, whilst also assisting in the practice areas of Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Compliance. Area of Law practice: The work will be primarily focused on foreign investment (inbound) but will also include some work from other departments. As a law intern in China, you will be exposed to various parts of their operations.
Legal Internship Opportunity in China
These are the broad category of Job roles which will be expanded into detail during the onboarding process
- Legal research
- Reviewing and drafting legal documents, legal opinions, etc.
- Drafting papers for the marketing team
- Participating in negotiations
- Other duties as may be required
- As an intern you will work with the Cross-Border Investments team,
- Assisting in the practice areas of Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Compliance.
- Commercial Law practice
Requirements:
- Received or currently earning a law degree in university
- Fluent in English and can engage in meaningful conversations
- Some Chinese language ability is a plus but not required
- Good skills in legal research and writing
- Good communication skills
- Willingness and ability to work independently on assignments
Law Internship in China Candidates considering long-term employment in a Chinese law firm will be given priority and their visas sponsored
