Marketing Assistant Placement

Role Purpose

Supporting the marketing team of nine people and running your own projects, involved with all of RMP Enterprise’s brands. Managing aspects of the RateMyPlacement website, delivering on our exciting fair campaigns and strategically building On-Campus Promotions (OCP) Society Network.

Key Responsibilities

• Making labels
• Assisting with the company's social media presence and running our monthly #PlacementChat - a twitter party to get students and employers talking to each other
• Writing email and website content for distribution to over 150,000 people
• Managing and delivering on RateMyPlacement’s key partnerships
• Moderating student-written reviews on RateMyPlacement
• Helping the On-Campus Promotions team implement client marketing campaigns on campus
• Assisting with event preparation for the annual National Undergraduate Employability Awards
• Representing RateMyPlacement at a variety of Freshers and Careers fairs
• Managing a team of fair helpers
• Supporting the growth of RateMyApprenticeship

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Undergraduate student looking for a minimum 12 month sandwich placement from any degree discipline
• Keen interest in social media and digital marketing, looking for new and innovative ways to engage both students and clients
• Sociable, confident, and well organised and can manage their own time effectively
• Self starter who is able to work on their own and as member of a team
• Willingness to travel to various universities in the UK
• Willingness to help out in many different aspects of the business
• Interest in working for a small entrepreneurial company

Desirable:

• Undertaking a degree in a Marketing or Business discipline
• Active member of a university society or club.
