Why Manufacturing Engineering?

Manufacturing Engineering plays a key role in the daily operation of the company, by maintaining and developing the processes and materials used in the production of our products. Our engineers work with the common goal of achieving the optimisation of the plant, ensuring that our products can be efficiently manufactured without compromising the high quality expected from our customers.

What You Will Be Doing?

Working as part of the Process Engineering team, you will be given practical hands-on experience from day one. You will gain a great insight into the industry whilst developing your theoretical and practical skills. In aid of your personal development and in helping you achieve your full potential, we will assign an experienced Process Engineer as a mentor, who will provide support and advice whilst overseeing your progress. There are a multitude of tasks and duties that you will undertake within the role, many of which will incorporate team work and interdepartmental communication.

Typical tasks would include:

  • Undertaking various individual projects and assisting in project team management.
  • Conducting mechanical and material tests individually or in teams within the factory and laboratory..
  • Implementing, developing and maintaining processes.
  • Working with the company’s internal IT system and software packages.

Who We Are Looking For

Ideally you will be an undergraduate studying Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science or a relevant engineering degree and possess strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is desirable. It is essential that you have the ability to work well within a team and possess good communication and interpersonal skills. We will expect a professional attitude to work and a willingness to learn.
