Youth Community Mentors
NCS The Challenge are looking for dedicated Leaders and Mentors interested in working with young people to strengthen their communities on our National Citizen Service (NCS) programme in London, Surrey, Buckinghamshire & Berkshire, West Midlands, Manchester, Lancashire or Yorkshire in summer 2017.
The NCS programme offers a mix of residential and local community roles for people with varying skills and qualifications - from those wishing to gain further experience working with young people through to project managers. Our summer roles have flexible work dates, so you can work as little as two weeks or up to three months.
NCS allows young people to take part in outdoor activities, skill development and community volunteering. In summer 2016, over 38,000 young people participated in our intensive three to four week programme. 2017 is our most ambitious programme to date and its lasting impact relies on the 4,500 seasonal staff members who will inspire their journey.
